Well here we are again in one of my favourite islands in the Caribbean, namely Antiqua. I really enjoy the laid back attitude to life embodied here on the island.

Antigua and Barbuda consists mostly of its two namesake islands, Antigua, and Barbuda. Other than that, Antigua and Barbuda's biggest islands are Guiana Island and Long Island off the coast of Antigua, and Redonda island, which is far from both of the main islands.

Antigua’s shoreline is washed almost exclusively by the Caribbean Sea and is hugged by 95 miles of superb coastline. Her sister Barbuda, is surrounded by protective reefs and features a large lagoon and Frigate Bird sanctuary. The islands are best known for their friendly and welcoming people, pink and white-sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and the most satisfying and enjoyable climate in the world. Renowned for its fresh colourful produce and aromatic spices, the islands are a foodies paradise.

After a leisurely stroll through the markets in St Johns early this morning, we are about to do one of my favourite things, "sailing the islands" on a catamaran. Not far to go as we board the catamaran at St J ohs harbour.

I DO LOVE A SAIL ON A CATARMARAN

Lunch aboard ship is the traditional "Lobster lunch"washed down with the unavoidable rum punch. Not that i was avoiding the punch in any way. I was lucky enough to enjoy two of these delicious plates.

A really enjoyable day out cruising, stopping off on the occasional deserted beach and swimming or snorkeling, or whatever takes your fancy.
